Detective by Charlie

This neat system does research on your prospect so that you don’t have to. Simply search with the details you have and their browser automation will scan available information in the public domain to create a quick one page summary.

Best feature:
The clever little bots find out your prospect’s competitors, their current focus and finds clients you have on board that match to give you tangible points to discuss.

Pricing:
We’d love to tell you but it seems that pricing is on a need to know basis. Online forums note that the system is only cost effective for 10+ sales reps due to the level of customization required per company. If it sounds interesting you will have to ask for a demo to get more details on how much all that work will cost you.

CrystalKnows

This is like spell check for how you say things and tailors it to suit who you are talking to. It may be proof that the computers ARE coming for us!! They now know how to sweet talk us into doing their bidding by analyzing all available data we have ever posted.

Best feature:
Helps you navigate those awkward first interactions by using the most appropriate salutations to build rapport and get your foot in the door.

Pricing:
Again, you have to sign up to know how much this dark magic will cost you. At least you can sign up and get started for free.

This is in no way a complete list and things move so fast that a few more savvy sales tools may have popped up or even more features may have been added to our chosen few. Every system has its uses, and how effective they are for you will depend on your end goal.

Our advice? Be realistic. You will need to spend some time researching, doing a trial and seeing if the results these tools offer are going to give you the data you need.

We can’t guarantee that mastering one of several of these tools won’t fast-track you to yacht ownership and a time-share in the Seychelles but they might just keep you a step ahead of the competition.

Happy prospecting!

I’m a marketing executive here at sales-i with a special place in my heart for geometric shapes, uneven numbers and statement acrylic jewellery. I live by the mantra ‘If it’s not a right angle, it’s a wrong angle’ (Monica Geller, Friends, 1990’s) – so don’t mess with my stuff and ALWAYS make sure the pen lid clicks when replaced. I have come to sales-i from an arts marketing background via an almost famous singing career and a polite decline of an offer of a place on the Coventry City football team. Cat memes, cake and upcycling take up the rest of my time when I am not beavering away at work.
