Over the last month we have seen a few new faces at sales-i, the latest being Rajia in our UK office.

As usual it’s time to dust off the questions and get to know Rajia Idris a little better.

When did you start at sales-i?

I started on the 23rd September 2013.

What does your role involve at sales-i?

I am a Lead Generation Agent, which requires me to call prospective clients and book them in for on-line demonstrations, simples…

What’s your background?

I have always worked in a sales environment. I’ve worked in retail, media and online advertising and as a medical rep for a pharmaceutical company.

Sales have always been my forte and I enjoy it.

Why work for sales-i?

Why not? Great people, great company and the people here are so helpful. If it wasn’t for each individual I wouldn’t be doing as well as I am right now.

If you could have a super power, what would it be?

I would love to be able to turn into an eagle, not your standard bird, but a bird of prey and rule the sky! (Also, I just want to be able to fly).

So you’re in sales? Can you sell ice to an Eskimo?

Get me an Eskimo and you’ll find out.

Finally, would you rather fight an elephant sized chihuahua or 20 chihuahua sized elephants?

I have a fear of dogs! So bring the elephants!

So there we have it, Rajia is a dog hating, sales person who would love to be able to fly. I’m not so sure about turning into an eagle though, it seems a lot easier just to catch the next RyanAir flight.

Next on our hitlist is Gavin (AKA Gavlarrr) who has joined our boarding team.

I’m the Marketing Manager here at sales-i and being in marketing I obviously love crayons and of course I have a toy Chewbacca on my desk (fully equipped with the ‘Maaaaaarh’ noise!

I have worked in the technology industry for over 7 years and have a good grasp on what’s happening in the industry. I also enjoy* the technical side of software development.

*The term ‘enjoy’ relates to the very few occasions where the techy side actually goes to plan, otherwise replace with the term ‘gets frustrated’.
