sales-i, the UK’s leading sales intelligence software provider, has expanded its presence in the automotive aftermarket and supply chain sector with four new customer wins.

Transmission, steering and braking supplier, Shaftec, Land Rover parts specialist, Britpart, roof part and accessories supplier, Rhino Products, and Elta Lighting, a division of Lucas Electrical have all implemented sales-i to improve their sales performance. The software already has a strong track record in the automotive aftermarket, most notably enabling Maxxis Tyres, one of the world’s top 10 tyre manufacturers, to grow sales by 28% over the past two years.

sales-i will also be exhibiting at this year’s Automechanika event (Stand 20C95) to demonstrate the benefits of the software to aftermarket manufacturers and suppliers first hand.

Paul Black, CEO of sales-i, comments: “While the aftermarket is hugely diverse, we’ve found that most companies experience the same fundamental obstacle in their sales processes – a lack of understanding around what, how, and why their customers are buying. Our simple and effective analytics software gives automotive salespeople the information they need to sell smarter, when they need it.”

sales-i also recently joined the Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation to help secure the long-term profitability of the automotive aftermarket and address the challenges and opportunities faced by companies operating within it. Several IAAF members have already successfully implemented sales-i, including BTN Turbo, Manbat, and MAHLE Aftermarket.

“We’re really looking forward to exhibiting at Automechanika as we continue to build momentum in the sector,” adds Black. “The event brings together the very best in automotive, and we want to show everyone exactly why sales-i is the best sales intelligence solution for aftermarket and supply chain professionals.”

I'm another marketing bod here at sales-i (that is marketing exec come social secretary, branded wardrobe, stationary cupboard, fixer of the printer and chief maker of a terrible cup of tea). I get to work with the two delights that are Chris and Steve who have taken it upon themselves to educate me on all things football and Star Wars. I’m a Villa or Birmingham City fan depending on which of them you ask. I really rather enjoy reading and writing (I'm not that great at the maths thing, as Chris will tell you). What I lack in Star Wars and football knowledge, I make up for with a keen eye for a good wine and a great impression of a Wookie.
