2015 is already setting itself up to be another stellar year for us here at sales-i, as we are delighted to announce that we’ve been shortlisted in two categories for the Greater Birmingham Chamber of Commerce Business Awards for 2015.

The Chamber holds these awards every year and they continually see a record number of applications and turnout. In making the shortlist for Excellence in International Business and Excellence in Innovation, we’re joining the ranks of some of the very best companies based in the Midlands that have seen their businesses grow and expand into new territories with forward-thinking products or services.

We’re always very humbled to be shortlisted for any award and the entire team will wrap up this gloomy (and typically British…) February day on a high. Staying true to our roots here in the Midlands is what has made sales-i so successful and the opportunity to enter the Chamber’s Business Awards was not one to be passed up. Organized entirely by the Birmingham Chamber of Commerce, these awards recognize the impressive achievement of a number of businesses across the region in 8 different categories.

Paul Black, CEO of sales-i adds, “International trade is one of the key components of our business here at sales-i and we successfully cracked the US market soon after we established the company, following in 2010 with an office in one of the brightest technology hubs of Chicago. To be recognized for our successful leap across the pond in one of the most prestigious awards programs in the Midlands is truly an honour and testament to the hard work and commitment of all at sales-i.”

So, as the glittering awards ceremony approaches, we’ll be dusting off our sharpest attire ready for the main event. Taking place at Birmingham’s ICC in late April, we’ll be sure to let you know how we get on!

I'm the Marketing Manager here at sales-i and being in marketing I obviously love crayons and of course I have a toy Chewbacca on my desk (fully equipped with the 'Maaaaaarh' noise! I have worked in the technology industry for over 7 years and have a good grasp on what's happening in the industry. I also enjoy* the technical side of software development. *The term 'enjoy' relates to the very few occasions where the techy side actually goes to plan, otherwise replace with the term 'gets frustrated'.
