VoilaNorbert.

Features:

This is a simple to use system to verify or find business emails. Anyone’s. They call it sorcery, which may be a bit of a stretch, but it’s handy if you have an inbox full of returned emails to try and update. This tool may only verify emails, but the option to pay-as-you-go makes it a must for inclusion on this list.

Detective by Charlie.

This neat system does research on your prospect so that you don’t have to. Simply search with the details you have and their browser automation will scan available information in the public domain to create a quick one-page summary.

Best feature:

The clever little bots find out your prospect’s competitors, their current focus and find clients you have on board that match to give you tangible points to discuss.

Pricing:

We’d love to tell you but it seems that pricing is on a need to know basis. Online forums note that the system is only cost-effective for 10+ sales reps due to the level of customization required per company. If it sounds interesting you will have to ask for a demo to get more details on how much all that work will cost you.

LeadiQ.

Features:

LeadiQ has two main features. The first is the fast access and data capture of prospect details from any website in just a couple of clicks. The data is sent directly to your linked CRM which gives you back the time that would usually be wasted on manual data entry.

The second is a website application that helps you store and organise your captured prospects into focussed campaigns you can use to drive specific offers. An example of this could be prospects that are wholesale ambient food buyers in Chicago. This would give you the mailing list or call list for your brand’s ketchup promotion.

Best feature:

It really is as simple as click and capture but with this comes the temptation to capture EVERYONE. This neat bit of tech keeps you focussed with the campaign feature, but it also helps you keep your data clean by direct data uploads to your CRM (no manual errors!) and with duplicate leads and contacts alerts.
Be honest, for data nerds like us, clean, relevant data is the holy grail.

Pricing:

If you sign up you get an impressive offer of 100 leads (credits) free to use on your free 7-day trial. After that, you can walk into the sunset or sign up for one of their two packages.

The LeadiQ Solo subscription gives you access to their content and 300 prospects and 30 premium credits a month for $60 – more than enough for the individual prospect researcher.

Or, a LeadiQ Team package that offers unlimited prospect campaigns, 100 premium credits and very useful array of software integrations (Salesforce, Hubspot etc) to make your life easier. The team prospecting package cost is scalable and therefore you will need to talk to one of their helpful humans (their term, not mine!) to find out more.

Final thoughts.

This is in no way a complete list and things move so fast that a few more savvy sales tools may have popped up or even more features may have been added to our chosen few. Every system has its uses, and how effective they are for you will depend on your end goal.

Our advice? Be realistic. You will need to spend some time researching, doing a trial and seeing if the results these prospecting tools offer are going to give you the data you need.

We can’t guarantee that mastering one of several of these tools won’t fast-track you to yacht ownership and a time-share in the Seychelles but they might just keep you a step ahead of the competition.

Happy prospecting!
