sales-i will be exhibiting at the 2009 National Merchant Buying Society’s (NMBS) annual exhibition. The NMBS is the most successful buying group for independent builders, plumbers, hardware and timber merchants in the UK, and announced a strategic agreement to offer sales-i to its 660+ building industry members back in January this year.
The NMBS annual exhibition brings members and suppliers together and facilitates face-to-face contact with existing and new suppliers, allows members to earn extra rebate, promotes suppliers’ new product launches, and provides unrivaled networking opportunities for all members. This year’s event is being held in Telford, Shropshire on May 12th.
The sales-i team is preparing to present its sales intelligence system to more than 450 visitors at the show and is luring them onto the stand with the promise of three live draws (at 11:00 am, 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm) for an Apple iPod Touch.
The NMBS’s decision to offer sales-i's sales enablement software service to its members comes at a time when they face the threat posed by the large national merchants coupled with a struggling economy. Smart sales analysis and identifying who is buying what and at what margin and profitability, is now more important than ever before.
