sales-i, the real-time sales intelligence solution for frontline sales people has been shortlisted as a finalist at the 2012 Midlands Business Awards. The awards provide the opportunity for businesses in the Midlands to showcase their outstanding contribution to the local region and celebrate their products and services.

Following hundreds of entries from businesses across the region, ranging from financial services to manufacturing companies, sales-i has been selected as a finalist in the Exporter of the Year category. Though not a traditional export of product, sales-i has broken the trend in becoming a successful British company exporting software and services predominantly into the United States, but also across Europe, the Middle East and Australia.

This year’s winners will be announced at an awards ceremony held on Friday 1st February 2013, as some of the best companies from across the region celebrate one of the main events in the local business calendar.

sales-i’s CEO and co-founder, Paul Black, comments, “To be shortlisted for the Midlands Business Awards is a true honour. There are so many fantastic businesses across the region and we are proud to have been recognized amongst the very best. sales-i has been wholly developed in the Midlands by our in-house programming team and we are looking forward to the award ceremony already.”

I'm another marketing bod here at sales-i (that is marketing exec come social secretary, branded wardrobe, stationary cupboard, fixer of the printer and chief maker of a terrible cup of tea). I get to work with the two delights that are Chris and Steve who have taken it upon themselves to educate me on all things football and Star Wars. I’m a Villa or Birmingham City fan depending on which of them you ask. I really rather enjoy reading and writing (I'm not that great at the maths thing, as Chris will tell you). What I lack in Star Wars and football knowledge, I make up for with a keen eye for a good wine and a great impression of a Wookie.
