WHAT IS SALES-I?

MEET OUR FOUNDERS

Paul and Kev founded sales-i back in 2008. They’ve lived and breathed our success ever since. From humble beginnings to an international sales performance software powerhouse, they’ve done really rather well. Well enough to get their own dedicated little space on the internet anyway. Meet our co-founders. They’re super cool, we promise.

PAUL BLACK | CEO/CO-FOUNDER

What has Paul done? The question should probably be what hasn’t he done? From building a multi-million pound home computing company to setting sales strategies at Hewlett Packard, Paul achieved a lot before sales-i was born. He’s also held senior roles at both Barclays B2B and CapGemini. Yep, he’s been around a bit.

Here at sales-i though, he sets the company’s technical direction and spearheads business and sales partnerships. Paul is heavily involved in defining the company’s marketing strategy and technical delivery of sales-i.

To top that all off, Paul is a complete adrenaline junkie and he’s really in his element burning rubber around a racetrack. Paul competes regularly on the international racing stage and yes, we all get to go and cheer him on!

KEVIN MCGIRL | CO-FOUNDER

With senior roles at some of the top software companies in the world including Computer Systems for Business and Proteus Software under his belt, Kev knows a thing or two about the business software world. To boot, he was also named the youngest director in the UK at IT giant, Unisys.

Kev’s knowledge and experience is second to none and has been instrumental in designing a software solution that responds to the challenges facing today’s businesses. He is now the driving force behind sales-i’s go to market and sales strategies.

Just to put us all to shame some more, Kev has completed as many marathons as we’ve had hot dinners. Okay, that’s an exaggeration, but he’s our certified in house running guru. The rest of us simply watch from afar and add running once a week month to our endless list of New Year’s resolutions.

Active in the IT industry for over 40 years, Rodney is a business angel investor and non-executive chairman. With a career defined by some of the most renowned IT companies, he brings a broad spectrum of expertize to sales-i including international sales, marketing and technical experience.

Jon Lee

Jon Lee

Non-Executive Director

Having served as CEO of London Bridge Software and Clearswift Systems, Jon joined the Board in 2009 bringing extensive software industry and M&A experience. He specializes in innovative technology companies, and brings an impressive skill-set that he has acquired throughout his career.

Richard Hargreaves

Richard Hargreaves

Non-Executive Director

Richard was educated as an engineer and has over 30 years’ experience investing in young companies and helping them grow. He has established and subsequently sold many successful businesses and today owns and manages Endeavour Ventures, specializing in young tech companies.

Martin Blackburn

Non-Executive Director

Currently COO for IBM’s Global Technology Business in Europe, Martin has been a non-executive director of sales-i since its inception. With a career spanning some of the industry giants, Martin works to oversee and assist in sales-i’s global sales and marketing expansion.

Keith Waterton

Keith Waterton

Chief Finance Officer

Keith has acted as CFO for some of the top software and technology companies in the world, specializing in private equity backed businesses and SMEs. He has also provided financial, operational and strategic direction to a global portfolio for a private equity group over a period of 12 years.
