As the sales-i family gets bigger and bigger, we are happy to welcome Dan to the team over in our Chicago office. As much as I’d like to say I had a lovely trip to Chicago to meet him and quiz him, it was unfortunately done via email at 8pm last night.
So enter Dan….(I always want to put ‘the man’ at the end of that. I’m sure he wouldn’t object).
Who are you?
I’m Dan Sullivan, born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. I graduated from the University of Dayton last May and have joined the sales-i business development team.
When did you start at sales-i?
I’ve been here four weeks strong and I’m so happy to be on board.
What does your role involve at sales-i?
In a business development role, I joined sales-i to create a buzz about the company and educate the masses on what we can offer to help salespeople from every walk of life, from coast to coast. On top of that, my role involves scrubbing existing account lists and generating the most exposure from our partnerships with various buying groups.
What is your background?
My background? Where do I start! On an educational front, my history has always been sales and specifically software and cloud based solutions. Professionally, I’ve worked with an IT staffing firm here in Chicago and before that I interned at Salesforce right after I graduated.
Why work for sales-i?
I came to sales-i because I wanted to be a part of something that I helped build. sales-i sparked my interest as a place that was going to invest in me as much as I invest in them.
From a selling standpoint, nothing in the US compares to the product that sales-i puts on the table, and the market companies to become more high tech is wide open. With a significant competitive advantage and untouched market, it is my belief that any salesperson can be successful, and that is exactly what I came here to do.
Could you sell ice to an Eskimo?
My mother told me I could when I was 12, so yes.
There’s one of our newest recruits! Stay tuned for more as the finance team has also grown here in the UK.
